With 5000 members, the Krammer wind farm is the largest citizens’ initiative in the Netherlands. What makes this project even more unique is that the wind farm is built on a flood defense system, which was previously not permitted. Together the 34 wind turbines generate 102MW of energy.
Ekal has contributed in many ways to the realization of the Krammer wind farm. First, Ekal drew the foundation of the windmills. Ekal also supervised the pile driving activities and pile checks were carried out. In addition, Ekal carried out vibration measurements.
