Amsterdam has the most sustainable office building in the world: The Edge. Due to a sophisticated design combined with smart and advanced technology, The Edge has a sustainability score of 98.36% (BREEAM-NL).
The office building sheds new light on real estate in the future: buildings that produce more energy than they consume. EKAL contributed to a solid foundation of this project. In addition to advice, EKAL also carried out checks on the load-bearing capacity of the piles.
